Tyler at Midas Lakewood provided exceptional customer service and is absolutely deserving of a 5-star review! While I was out running errands on Saturday in 90+ degree weather, my vehicle’s “low coolant” warning light came on and the engine started overheating. I pulled into the nearest Midas location, and Tyler immediately greeted me and explained that the car would need to cool down before he could safely inspect it. After checking everything over, Tyler confirmed that the coolant simply needed to be topped off. He took care of it quickly, and to my surprise, he didn’t charge me anything. It’s rare to find someone who is so honest, helpful, and genuinely focused on taking care of customers. If I lived closer to the area, Tyler would absolutely have my business for all of my vehicle’s maintenance and repairs. If you live nearby or are just passing through and need automotive service, I highly recommend stopping by the Midas Lakewood location. Tyler truly went above and beyond, and I can’t thank him enough!

Excellent shop with puppy June to keep me company while I get my car serviced. Called in and spoke to Tyler to have my car checkout. When I got there, check in and service start without delay. My go to place for car maintenance service

I cannot recommend this Midas enough. It is difficult to find an honest mechanic, especially as a woman, and they've definitely earned a customer for life. I originally took my 2014 Ford Explorer to Pep Boys, where I was told I needed to replace both catalytic converters. That would've cost me thousands of dollars. I got a weird vibe, so I decided to get a second opinion from Midas. Midas spent several days trying to figure out what was actually wrong with my Explorer instead of just throwing expensive parts at it. They kept me updated, explained what they were finding, and when they realized the issue was beyond what they could confidently fix, they were honest about it. Instead of taking my money and hoping for the best, they referred me to a shop that specializes in Fords. And on top of all of that, they charged me absolutely nothing for all of that diagnostic work. In contrast, I paid Pep Boys over $100 for a diagnosis that ended up being completely wrong. For a shop to say, "This isn't our specialty, and we want you to get the right repair," is beyond admirable. They saved me from spending thousands of dollars on repairs I didn't actually need, and they did it for no charg

I went in for an alignment. 1.5hr into my leaving the vehicle with them I recieved a phone call telling me they couldn't warranty the alignment on my car because I didn't have sway bar end links installed. I told them to align the car anyways. They quoted me $1200 to install end links, a part that costs no more than $60 on rockauto.com for all 4 corners ($42.28 for the most expensive ones they offer) and an hour of time to install at most. I never recieved a call saying my vehicle was ready. When I asked for a printout of my alignment they said the printer for the alignment machine was down. I test drove my car and not only was my car still listing to the right but my steering wheel was also still at a 20° angle. They didn't put the proper mileage on my paperwork either so I wonder how far they decide to drive my car. I got my money back so I guess there's that. Would not come back again.

I had a great experience at Midas on Wadsworth! I came in as a walk in for an oil change and was greeted and taken in promptly, which I really appreciated. The team was professional, efficient, and took great care of my car. I had noticed a slight alignment issue recently but completely forgot to mention it. Lucky for me, they offer free alignment checks, and they brought it to my attention without me even asking. I'm so glad they did bc it's definitely something I want to take care of to keep my baby running like the well-oiled machine she is. I love my car and it means a lot to have a shop that treats it with the same level of care and attention. Thank you, Midas team! I’ll definitely be back. 🚗✨
